Guys, tonight's a good one. The Black Hole Sun Burger. Do we really need to keep going?
And with a flip of the calendar, we've also welcomed a new brewery to the fold of what's turning out to be a who's-who of craft brewers on Wednesday nights at our bar. So please, help us welcome Portland, Maine's Allagash Brewing Co. tonight with a burger and a draft pour of Allagash White to pair. And if you're feeling it, we'll have their awesome and hard to find Confluence Ale on our shorty line. Super limited quantities of everything, especially Confluence.
Expect more good things to come the rest of the month from the burgers and beers alike.
Collection Selection // November 11
Scottie sums things up beautifully over at his Uncanned Music site, but we need to dish on something special going on Monday night as well.
Our good industry friend Patrick Gould from Windy City Distribution (they supply us with lots and lots of good brews) is manning the decks this coming Monday and is bringing some heavy artillery with him.
Not only is he supplying your beer glasses that night with some rare beers from Allagash Brewing Co., but he's bringing with him some of the newest beer in Chicago—coming from the tanks of another Maine cohort, Maine Beer Co. He's been gushing about these guys for works, and if we're lucky, a rumored collab brew between the two breweries may make an appearance.
To top it all of, Chef is working on some Maine inspired dishes that'll be available on this night only.
Fun starts at 8pm. And DJ Gould has impeccable taste in vinyl. Good beer, good tunes, and MAINE.
Burger & Beer // October 23
This is our third week of our Burger & Beer tango, and the thing has been a huge success. For just $10, here's how it works:
Burger. Beer. Every Wednesday night. Different burger weekly. Rotating brewery monthly. Bar only. And when they're gone, they're gone.
