Here at Trenchermen we value our roots and the regional influences that make new American cuisine so damn exciting. In that vein, we bring you the second in our Dinner Upriver series, hosting our favorite Chefs from nearby cities. On August 19, we welcome our friends from Memphis, Tennessee: Andy Ticer and Michael Hudman of Hog & Hominy and Kelly English of Restaurant Iris. They'll be joining forces with Chef Pat Sheerin to combine flavors of Memphis with the bounty of a Chicago Summer.
A portion of the sales will go to benefit Growing Power, one of the coolest Urban Farm projects in the country. The Chefs will also be hand selecting local produce grown at Growing Power's Iron Street urban farm to feature in the dinner.
