Please join us on Wednesday, October 22nd to celebrate the release of acclaimed Icelandic chef Gunnar Karl Gislason's and cookbook author Jody Eddy's book North: The New Nordic Cuisine of Iceland.
Published by Ten Speed Press, the book explores Iceland's traditional food producers through the lens of Gunnar's contemporary cuisine.
Jody Eddy and the chef of Reykjavik restaurants Dill and Kex will be in the kitchen preparing dishes from North with the support of chefs Cortney Burns and Nick Balla of the San Francisco based restaurant Bar Tartine.
The family style, three course dinner will culminate in a dessert from North prepared by Chicago based chef Mindy Segal who will also be on hand for the festivities.
The $75 event includes a three course dinner, tax, gratuity, a cocktail, and a signed copy of North.
A reception and signing at 6:30pm will kick off a 7:00pm dinner that you won't soon forget!
